Thomas Mathew ( -1705?) was a merchant-planter in northern Virginia at the time of Bacon's Rebellion. Bacon's Rebellion was a revolt in Virginia in 1676 led by Nathaniel Bacon (1647-1676), a young planter, against the aged royal governor, Sir William Berkeley (1606-1677).
